1. How are you a “game-changer” in the wedding industry?

My goal is to be able to provide a complete wedding experience, whether it be custom graphic design and paper goods, wedding websites, or crafty decor and planning. I just love so many aspects of this industry, I can’t limit myself to one thing. I want to take it all on!

  2.  What inspires you to “do weddings differently”?

I was brought up in a conservative family that put lots of importance on getting married and having a large traditional wedding. I knew even at a young age that that wasn’t my style and that I didn’t need a big traditional wedding to feel complete. I think everyone should be able to celebrate their commitment to their partner in whatever way makes them happy. I want to do whatever I can to help people achieve that.

 3.  What is one of your favorite creative, offbeat projects you’ve worked on?

I loved helping Two Spoons Photo with her love party two years ago. It was solely in a friend capacity, but it was super fun to work with her to create save the dates, custom favors, and decorations for the event. It was a great first foray into what an exciting project a wedding could be.

In addition to creating and mailing all of their save the dates, I also created and hung the tissue paper poms that were hanging from the ceiling, designed the customer mason jars as favors for the guests, created all of the signage for the event, hand printed all of the dogwood pouches for their guests, and also created custom labels for the beer that was brewed for their special day.

4.  What are three ingredients for a perfect day at your company?

To quote Lorelai Gilmore, “Coffee, coffee, coffee!”

5.  If you were in charge, what would the next big wedding trend be?

We’d eliminate the need for a single officiant. Instead all of your best friends could say a few words as they marry you!

6.  What are you most looking forward to at {un}convention?

I feel I really need to fine tune what I have to offer  as a wedding professional, whether it be graphic design or crafty wedding decor. This will be a great opportunity!
