This photo shoot was something I've been wanting to capture for so long. I'm passionate about the ability to elope, not worrying about the confinements of what is expected in the wedding industry — how simple yet utterly romantic this idea of eloping is and could be for so many. Secondly, I had been wondering: was it possible to wear something on that special day that didn't make you wonder how it was made and at what cost to people, animals and the planet? Was it possible to wear something luxurious and beautiful, yet still sustainable and organic?
Then Emma from Brides in France approached me about collaborating on a shoot together in France. She told me about a wonderful new coastal venue that she had found that was eco-friendly and served organic food. So then, everything fell into place beautifully, as she knew a high profile make up artist, florists, and models. By this point, I had discovered some exceptional women wedding designers who were championing sustainable, organic, luxurious wedding dresses that are beautiful and unique. I found accessory designers who made things ethically by hand, elegant lingerie makers, and also designers who catered to us tomboys who love beautifully tailored pieces and simplicity rather than tulle and sequins or lace.
I hope you like the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thank you so much to the wonderful team in France and all the British designers who were kind enough to let me fly these pieces over to make this shoot a reality.
Quotes from some of the contributors:
"Each bouquet for the shoot was created to compliment the beautiful designer's dresses and the stunning Italian-influenced venue and its gorgeous seaside location. The splashes of colour throughout the villa inspired me to be bold with blooms in vibrant shades."
— Lisa Gatenby | French Flower style
"This shoot was so special for so many reasons, especially being eco-focused and using such amazing designer dresses/outfits. The makeup I created for this reflected all the differing vibes and moods of the day. Dramatic and exotic when needed and romantically soft for the more beach boho looks.”
— Claire Jones | Makeup Artist
"I created hairstyles that complimented each theme and style, including classic bridal, soft lingerie, rock, and chic, and I blended the styles with our models' individual looks."

I’m a London-based photographer who's fortunate to work in various genres of photography, in projects ranging from architectural to commercial to fashion and portraiture. This variety allows me to have a unique insight and different perspective when I work on my first love, which is wedding photography.
I love the intimacy, uniqueness, creativity, and unpredictability that often occurs in weddings. You can’t control anything, yet they're filled with passion, energy, and excitement. Being involved in wedding photography allows me to capture the most spectacular and precious moments, and this is what drives and inspires me as a photographer. Each and every wedding is as unique as those who are in it, and the energy and love within weddings is an amazing moment in time that I am fortunate enough to photograph.
