In Richmond, we are painting a series of mini-murals of individual ladies all around town, to build momentum for taking this show on the road!

Leaving July 15th, we'll set out in the HerrSuite mobile studio to drive up the east coast, painting as many more walls as we can along the way. Know a wall between VA and VT that needs a G!G!G! mural? Get in touch!

In Burlington, we will paint a second iteration of the first G!G!G! mural on Battery Street Jeans, a thrift shop catering to diverse body shapes and genders. This mural will featuring many women all together, all people who live in the area.

Once upon a time, the societal formula for weddings was pretty limited: boy + girl + religious ceremony = wedding. Period. Anyone who deviated was...well...a deviant, subject to social and legal marginalization. Similarly, for many years our culture supported a narrow definition of family, namely family = a husband + a wife + their biological child(ren). Period. Unmarried parents, same-sex parents, interracial families, immigrant families, blended families, families of color, families without children, and even adoptive families struggled to find their place in society, facing a range of difficulties and indignities at every turn.

Catalyst Volume Three Launch Party Hosted by Honey Ryder Boutique

This past Monday we celebrated the launch of Volume Three with a special party in the hometown of our Creative Director, Charlottesville, Virginia. We gathered together many local wedding vendors to celebrate with a night of drinks, sweets, and good conversation. The event was hosted at Honey Ryder Boutique, which is this gorgeous shop in an old Coca Cola warehouse off 10th St. Heather Romberger, the owner of Honey Ryder, graciously offered up her space and it was the perfect setting. If you are ever in the area, you should definitely visit her store and pick up a new outfit and accessories.
