Betty Clicker Photography is a small team of feminist, documentary wedding photographers based in Virginia & California who share values of authenticity, inclusivity, and the storyteller's approach to weddings … but each with our own unique creative vision. Based in both California and Virginia, we have the flexibility to cover your event, wherever that may take us.
How do you approach weddings?
We care about you. Listening thoughtfully to our clients is essential to the creative process and allows us to establish the trust needed to make honest photographs. We strive to make photos that broaden our emotional repertoire and show the importance of slowing down and being present. We’re inspired by the art that exists in genuine moments of connection between people and their environment and enjoy working with couples who are not afraid to trust us.
What are some traits of your ideal clients?
Catalyst couples prioritize love — and not only the love within a couple, but love of an entire community that comes together to celebrate — and we want to document that. We do our best work when given the creative space to be ourselves. Our best wedding photographs come from pure moments of spontaneity — not from a shot list or strict schedule. Couples who trust and give us free rein to document their celebration are the couples whose photos take you right back to what it felt like to be there at the wedding.

Travel Policy
No travel fees within 100 miles of Richmond, VA or Santa Barbara, CA. We charge a $500-$1,000 fee for domestic travel, and are happy to provide estimates for international weddings.
Elopement Policy
We offer special pricing for City Hall weddings, elopements and intimate weekday weddings.
