Catalyst Wedding Co. is more than a wedding vendor directory—it is a community dedicated to creating a more inclusive, equitable, and affirming wedding industry. Vendors who join Catalyst commit to celebrating and supporting queer love by using inclusive language, avoiding assumptions about identity or relationships, and creating safe, welcoming experiences for LGBTQ+ couples.

Members also pledge to actively engage in anti-racism and equity work by examining bias, learning from marginalized communities, and fostering more equitable spaces for BIPOC clients and vendors. Catalyst encourages vendors to challenge outdated industry norms through a feminist and justice-centered approach, while remaining committed to ongoing education, accountability, and personal growth.

Vendors in the Catalyst community agree to serve all clients with dignity, respect, and professionalism, honoring each couple’s unique identity, culture, and values. They are expected to approach conflict with humility, empathy, and a focus on understanding and repair rather than blame. Catalyst also promotes collaboration over competition, encouraging vendors to support one another through mentorship, generosity, and community-building.

Finally, members commit to ethical business practices and recognize that joining Catalyst is a partnership in advancing its broader mission of advocacy, education, community, and meaningful change within the wedding industry.
