Hello — I’m Michael, Founder & Creative Director of Rosey West.

With a background in evening and wedding wear at Parsons School for Design, class of 2010, I have had the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of fashion designers and prestige beauty brands, most notably at Amsale and Bumble and Bumble, before turning my attention to fine jewelry.

Since launching Rosey West, I have been selected as a finalist for TheNextNow 2017 jewelry design competition, a semi-finalist for the Elaine Gold Launch Pad 2019 program, and currently, I am a member of the Accessories Council and serve as an advisory board member for the Rutgers Design Thinking program.

As an identifying member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I stand for the equality of love of all kinds — and look forward to celebrating your love, however you choose to define it, with you.

How do you approach weddings? 

I approach weddings as modern traditions that celebrate you.

Rooted in the traditions of artisanship, my best ideas generate from the creative collaboration of clients, artists, and each other.

My jewelry represents love of all kinds, and serves as a reminder that you make your meaning — each piece a personal representation of self-expression carrying powerful, potent intimacy.

What are some traits of your ideal clients?

What are three of your favorite things? 

Antique cut and reclaimed diamonds, great literary works from the romanticism period, and my absolute favorite place to visit is Bath — in the United Kingdom. My ideal day would preferably be wearing antique cut and reclaimed diamonds, reading a book of poetry, outside of The Royal Crescent in Bath (and possibly listening to Andrea Bocelli).
