Meet De Nueva Photography
De Nueva Photography is a wedding and elopement photography company based in New York, NY. I think getting your photo taken should be fun, not stressful; and do my best to guide my clients every step of the way! Camera -shy? No need to worry, I specialize in helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will photograph your love story in a way that is authentic to you and make sure to capture all the genuine moments between you and your partner. De Nueva Photography also supports a variety of non-profits every month.
How does Nicki approach weddings?
I guide you every step of the way to make sure you are comfortable in front of the camera. You will be able to enjoy the time with your partner rather then being forced into stiff awkward poses. For larger weddings, I help coordinate your timeline, make family portraits as quick and painless as possible, and get all the fun candid moments!
What are some traits of your ideal clients?
My ideal clients are focused on their love for each other and celebrating that on their wedding day. They would rather enjoy each other's company then worry about napkin colors and fancy table arrangements. They want to have fun and are not afraid to laugh with each other. They care about social justice issues and want to make the world a better place.
What are some of your favorite things?
My favorite pastimes are travel, food and fitness. I always have a upcoming trip on the horizon, travel hacking is one of my favorite things. I'm an outside adventure person. Whether it's hiking, swimming in the ocean, a picnic in the park; if it's outside in the sunshine, I'm there. If I'm not taking photos or playing outside, I'm usually either cooking or doing something active; I love to run, bike, swim, do yoga, sitting still is not my strong suit.
