Meet Evergreen Era Film & Photo
Evergreen Era Film & Photo is an Asheville elopement photographer & videographer helping couples craft intentional celebrations in the Blue Ridge Mountains, capturing the moments, emotions, and stories that make their day truly theirs. Kathryn (she/her) is a one woman team who makes her couples know that what they really want is important, valuable, and possible. She works to make that dream come to life for them and photographs and films the experience from start to finish so they can remember all the good feelings through their lifetime together.
How does Evergreen Era Film & Photo approach weddings?
I have a natural yet organized approach to planning and capturing elopements with couples. We have a clear timeline laid out but there is always room for personalization and adjustment for each couple. The goal is to find what the most important pieces are, and to plan around having a lovely time. Then we trust that beautiful photos and videos will come of their enjoyable experience.
What are some traits of your ideal clients?
They love nature, they are more introverted and don't love being the center of attention, they have a bit of adventure and go with the flow attitude but also really enjoy relaxing and some luxury. They value most the time with their core people and want a meaningful experience but want to spend money in ways that align with their values.
What are three of your favorite things?
I love being outside in some form or fashion, from hiking to rafting to biking and gardening. My perfect day would be spent with a slow morning and delicious breakfast outside in a lush garden with my partner Ian, then we go for a hike in the woods with our dog Luna off leash and with some friends. We picnic up on the top of the mountain for lunch. We stop by a swimming hole on the way home to dip in the creek. Then we rest that afternoon at the house in a hammock and reading and piddlin' around with little house work before we have a delicious meal for dinner with my parents and end the day by the bonfire with smores.
