ABOUT VENDOR

Meet With These Rings
With These Rings is a jewelry studio in Port Townsend, Washington, where couples make their own wedding rings. Since 2012, jeweler and teacher Stephanie Selle has guided over 1,500 couples through this private workshop, helping them create heirloom-quality rings with their own hands.
No jewelry experience needed. In each workshop, Stephanie teaches couples traditional basic metalworking using jewelers tools and a torch. Everyone leaves with rings they actually made themselves. The setting is one on one and low-pressure.
This experience is very different from buying a ring at a store. Making your rings is the most personal way to mark your commitment to each other and a unique experience to share.
With These Rings works exclusively with recycled precious metals from an eco-conscious refiner, with options in different gold alloys and sterling silver. Simple bands typically take 3–5 hours, and many couples leave the same day. Rings with stones or custom engravings get their finishing touches after the workshop and will take 4-6 weeks.

How does Stephanie approach weddings?
My approach is to guide you through the process, not do it for you. From the moment you sit down at the bench, I'll walk you through each step clearly, but the work is yours. You'll watch the ring take shape, step by step, in your own hands.
Most people arrive a little nervous. That usually fades after the first step or two.
I like to get to know you as a couple, and if you'd like, I'll take photos throughout the day so you have something to look back on. By the end, I hope it feels less like a class and more like a one of a kind experience, one where you spent the afternoon with someone who genuinely cared how it went.

What are some traits of your ideal clients?
My ideal clients are couples who value meaningful experiences and sustainability. They're open to learning something new and comfortable with a hands-on, collaborative process. They're excited about the idea of creating something with their own hands, even if they've never done anything like this before. They appreciate the story behind their rings as much as the finished product. They see their wedding rings as more than just jewelry, they see them as a symbol of their commitment that becomes even more meaningful when they've made them for each other.

What are some of your favorite things?
Spending the day with my partner and 2 dogs. Cooking and dancing in the kitchen, laying in the hammock, or getting out and enjoying the Olympic Peninsula.

TESTIMONIAL

"We learned about Stephanie and With These Rings from a Google Search. From the start of the process to the final selfie in her studio upon completion of our rings, she exuded nothing but patience, kindness, deep knowledge, and unconditional support every step of the way. We had lots of questions before we even got to the studio, and she always replied promptly and with more background information to our questions. She was always fully transparent on the cost of the rings and any extra costs with our personalized touches. When we arrived at her studio in Port Townsend, she welcomed us in, and the experience in person was exceptional. She always made sure to explain what was happening and, of course, allowed us to practice before doing each of the steps with our actual metals. We felt that we had full control while also knowing we had her full support every step of the process, which was extremely reassuring. She always was checking in and also took photos of us while we created our rings - a wonderful bonus to have the visuals to remember our special day in her studio. We are so grateful for her and can’t wait to see the final rings that we made for one another. Thank you again, Stephanie, for all that you continue to do for couples like us and many more before and after us!
With deep gratitude, Dougal and Nick"
