Catalyst Wedding Company highlights weddings by and for game-changers. We seek to amplify and empower voices and viewpoints that are usually missing from the Wedding Industrial Complex. We're a community of badass wedding professionals who love all things funky, fresh, diverse, unique, and personality-driven; we convene twice yearly for (un)convention, a collaborative workshop, styled shoot, and dinner party. We're also the publishers of Catalyst Wedding Mag, a resource for couples looking for inspiration and affirmation that doing things differently in wedding-world is not only ok, it's wonderful!

What is the mission of your company?

People are at the heart of everything we do at Early Mountain, beginning with the spirit of welcome we hope they will find here. We seek to provide a memorable and unique experience for each personality that sets foot through our doors.

What is one of your favorite projects you've ever worked on?

We hosted a wedding out here last June that was more a celebration of two people starting a life together with their loved ones surrounding them than it was about hosting a wedding. The bride was there in her tea-length gown and ballerina flats to greet her guests as they arrived and stayed with the group through the entire event. They had a garden party cocktail hour to start the day and then had everyone gather around on the lawn for a sweet and intimate vow exchange. The day turned out to be amazingly beautiful so guests spent pretty much the rest of the night outside under the stars catching up with each other and celebrating the start of a new life together!

Passion, vision and, of course, wine.

What else would you like to share?

Early Mountain loves innovation and creativity. From our wine portfolio to our event spaces, we love mixing rustic, time old traditions with a modern flair. We encourage all of our couples to use tradition where it works and originality where it doesn’t.

What makes your business different than competing businesses?

We have a team that works hard and well together to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the people we meet. From our wine to our events we strive to give everything we work on its own individual flair. Everyone on the events team sits at a round table in the office, and no decisions are made unilaterally — we love teamwork and believe it’s what makes this world (and field) go ‘round!
