Catalyst Wedding Company highlights weddings by and for game-changers. We seek to amplify and empower voices and viewpoints that are usually missing from the Wedding Industrial Complex. We're a community of badass wedding professionals who love all things funky, fresh, diverse, unique, and personality-driven; we convene twice yearly for (un)convention, a collaborative workshop, styled shoot, and dinner party. We're also the publishers of Catalyst Wedding Mag, a resource for couples looking for inspiration and affirmation that doing things differently in wedding-world is not only ok, it's wonderful!

Kevin and Cam are a real-life couple who had just recently gotten engaged. I decided to turn their engagement photos into a gorgeous fall-inspired styled shoot at a local farm during Golden Hour. I got a bunch of incredibly talented vendors to take part and this shoot was epic! Between their love, the donuts, and the goats roaming around, everyone was all smiles!

Kevin says: Cameron and I met through our cousins. Our cousins were friends prior to us meeting and thought we would be good for each other. Boy, were they right! Ever since the first day I met Cameron, I saw my future in his eyes and his heart in my life. We have been inseparable ever since. Considering all the struggles of growing up as gay males, I would do it all over again if I knew he was awaiting me for our forever. We were all dressed up one New Year's Eve, and he asked me to marry him. It was very simple and nothing over the top, just like us. It was just one soul reaching out to another to confirm the connection we already have. What a happy New Years that was!

Rose Trail Images is a North Carolina Photographer serving the Raleigh/Durham area. Owned by Audrey Priel, she specializes in a more lifestyle and photojournalistic approach, focusing on the moments and the reason behind the story as opposed to stiff posing and awkward moments. She's inspired by sunsets, infectious laughter, and the joy of the here and now.

When not out capturing awesomeness, you can find her at home with her husband, two boys, and their herd of animals watching sports and yelling at the refs on TV.
