A Glam Wedding in Riverwalk, SC: Dana + TJ

“While all of my couples hold a special place in my heart, I had the honor of being a part of this wedding journey from the start. You can see Dana + TJ's tear-jerker proposal that was a complete surprise to her, on How They Asked.
Over the following year, Dana and TJ planned what ended up being a wedding that was a perfect blend of their individual personalities and couple style. I was THRILLED to be able to be a part of their wedding. I loved the glamour and details that they incorporated into their day… but most of all I loved capturing their love. TJ and Dana, and their entire wedding party, are just as amazing in real life as they are in the pictures.
Dana and TJ’s ceremony was simply perfect. We laughed and cried during the perfectly decorated ceremony on the lawn of the Brakefield at Riverwalk. After the ceremony, Dana surprised TJ with a custom leather moto jacket that said Alpha Wife For Life as a tribute to TJ’s fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha. How chic did she look with the jacket and gown on?!
After formals, it was finally time to PAR-TAY! Dana slipped off her overskirt to reveal a sleek evening gown underneath, and literally let her hair down, while TJ changed into a black and gold tuxedo jacket. They took to the dance floor and all of their guests followed along. The party was still going strong long after I left!”

Amber is the creative heart behind Images by Amber Robinson photography based in Raleigh, NC. Her approach to photographing couples in love is unconventional as she actually has couples sign in their contract that they agree to be friends. She believes that strangers shouldn't be invited to your wedding and that goes for vendors too. This approach creates relationships with her couples where their love for each other is free to be expressed because her couples not only like her style, but trust her as a friend to capture their authentic love on their special day. She believes in celebrating love between all people from all backgrounds, cultures, religions, and races. The only requirement is that her couples are hopeless romantics like her.
