I am from Richmond, Virginia and Christine is from Peoria, Illinois. We met online while I was traveling cross country and Christine was stationed in the military in South Carolina. We now live in Illinois where Christine is a federal officer and I am a voiceover artist. We have two furbabies, Carma and Charlie.
We are a #tindermarriage! One of our first dates was at a drive-in movie on a warm spring night! We fell in love while I continued on my trip across the country. We were long distance for the next 11 months before I made the move up to Illinois for Christine's new job once she got out of the Marines.
We wanted a fun spring outdoorsy engagement shoot! It turned into a spring rainstorm shoot which is even better :)

She lives a minimalist, low-waste lifestyle and has a passion for helping people escape from what society says their lives/weddings/relationships are supposed to look like. In her free time, Leah enjoys loving her houseplants to death and drawing floor plans for short bus skoolies.
