When the officiant was delayed, pushing the planned sunset ceremony well into the moonlight, these two brides, and their talented photographers, rolled with the mishaps and had a beautiful, intimate ceremony on the beach by the light of the full moon.

Nuestra mayor inspiración para planear la boda fue el lugar en dónde nos conocimos y en nuestras personalidades. A las dos nos encanta la playa, el mar y la suave arena del caribe, por lo que, queríamos que todos estos elementos tuvieran un lugar importante dentro de nuestro gran día! Somos personas muy alegres y nos encanta la música, así que decidimos que la decoración y la temática serian colore alegres y llenos de vida ( verde, amarillo, fucsia y azul). Decidimos gastar una buena parte de nuestro presupuesto en los músicos! Asi que, buscamos una persona con la que nos identificáramos para que tocara en vivo durante la ceremonia nuestras canciones favoritas y con un toque especial.  El mariachi no podía faltar al salir del altar para celebrar y por último una banda de música en vivo durante la fiesta no podía faltar. La ceremonia fue oficiada por una ministro muy amiga de nosotras por lo qué, el discurso fue aún mas emotivo y personalizado.

Kate and Jo were married on a boat just off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii, surrounded by a small group of loved ones. After the ceremony, Kate and her sister performed slam poetry as a surprise for Jo, and there wasn't a dry eye to be found. They finished up the day with drinks and cookies at a local bar.

"We met in high school and were friends, but we ran in different circles. We fell in love nine years later when we ended up working for the same company. It was only a week into dating that we both knew: this is it!

Our proposal was a complete shock to me. I just didn't think that Corynn could do all of that behind my back. She completely surprised me, proposing at sunset on our first trip to Cancun. She even called my mom before getting the ring and asked her for my hand in marriage! I'm so proud of my engagement ring. Corynn did excellent. I told her I wanted something unique with lots of bling, and boy did she listen.

This stylized shoot showcases Bermuda's unique wedding style, with a local model playing the groom and a yan, a Para-Olympic hopeful athlete and bartender in the groom role. She is wearing a blush pink BHLDN gown, and he is rocking traditional Bermudan formal attire: iconic Bermuda shorts and a smart blazer.

Will and Ruby eloped on the winter solstice, December 21, 2016, at Charlotte Beach in Vermont. Will built a fire from drift wood to warm their hands, much to the confusion of their puppy, who continuously tried to start a game of fetch. A truly intimate event, the only people present were myself and the officiant while they exchanged their vows on the shores of Lake Champlain. It was incredible.

We became friends again through the power of Facebook (breaking and making relationships since 2004!) and managed a reunion in Las Vegas. Geoff says it was love at first sight. I am a much more emotionally oblivious person, so Geoff took another trip to Seattle where I inadvertently set up the perfect first date. It took a subsequent trip together to Vancouver for me to catch on. 

While many couples get lost in the minutiae of seating charts, the number of flowers in each centerpiece, and other such details for the so-called "perfect" wedding, Sharon and Michelle's intent was much different: to this couple, the perfect wedding was a day of mindfulness and love.

Miranda and Andrew spent more time deciding how to celebrate tying the knot than actually planning the occasion. From city hall, to small beach ceremony, to a grand celebration at Nixon Library, it took them some time to figure it out. They had their share of stubborn moments, overstepping family members, and budget challenges, but they knew when to stick up for each other, and when things weren’t worth the stress. 

Donnie and Jamie's wedding took place July 27, 2014 before gay marriage had been legalized nationwide, so they decided on a destination wedding in Massachusetts, a state going on 10+ years of legalized same sex marriage.  They chose a place they both loved, Provincetown, most commonly known as P-Town! If you haven't been there yet, this place is AMAZING — one of the most idiosyncratic and extraordinary towns in the United States. It is a huge summer attraction with its beautiful beaches, quirky shops, and a popular destination for same sex couples. 

Alexa and Stephen are totally awesome. Alexa is a petite and meditative (with a Buddha-like personality) woman from Puerto Rico. She has an awesome Brooklyn accent, and wildly amazing hair. Stephen is originally from Washington state, and is funny and quirky, and still knows how to rock a paperboy hat and suspenders. Their energy from day one of knowing them was rooted in just being, and loving and it shows. Best of all, they were so real, top to bottom. They met while working together at Ruby Tuesdays in Virginia Beach, and fell in love. What is more real than that? Their wedding was crazy fun, and felt like a true celebration of not only their love, but their families as well. They blasted traditional Puerto Rican music far into the night, danced their butts off, and belted in Spanish with fist pumps in the air.
